To protect our tribe members’ contact details from being widely spread online, we require potential buyers to express their interest by clicking “Show Number”, which then retrieves the seller’s best contact number.

However, some ad blockers may prevent this request from going through. To resolve this, please disable your ad blocker or whitelist the Just JDM Cars domain.

If you’re unsure how to disable or whitelist your ad blocker, don’t worry—we’ve got a guide ready for you!

Place Ad

Tips for placing an ad online

Private vs Commercial

What Classification Do You Fall Under?

Private or Commercial?

The Just JDM Cars platform allows you to list a vehicle for free or choose a paid package for additional features. Here’s how we differentiate between private and commercial listings:

Private: You are buying or selling a vehicle for personal use, without any commercial intent.

Commercial: You are a business listing vehicles for sale on the Just JDM Cars platform.

Important:Commercial customers can still list vehicles on the platform. Contact our commercial sales team to explore your options.

Web and Magazine Descriptions – Your Advertisement, Your Control

At Just JDM Cars, we give you control over how your vehicle is presented to potential buyers. That’s why we ask for two descriptions when you place an ad—one for the web and one for our magazine.

Web Description

This is your opportunity to provide a detailed and engaging description of your vehicle. The text here will appear in your online listing and be visible to anyone browsing our website. Be sure to include details such as the car’s history, modifications, key features, and any milestones.

The more information you provide, the better engagement your listing will receive, reducing the need for repetitive inquiries from interested buyers.

Magazine Description

Every ad placed on Just JDM Cars will also appear in our magazine for two editions, starting from the next available issue. To keep our magazine well-organized and easy to read, we limit the text length for each listing.

Depending on your advertising package, the magazine description can range from 25 words for standard listings to 65 words for premium packages.

We require a separate magazine description so you can tailor your wording based on the available word count. As you type, a word counter will show how many words you have left according to your selected package.

⚠️ Important: You won’t be able to paste text into this field.

When the magazine is printed, your ad will be automatically placed in the appropriate category, and the magazine description you provide will be used to showcase your vehicle.

Location Error When Submitting an Ad

Support Team

Written by Support
Updated over 4 years ago

When posting an ad on Just JDM Cars, it is necessary to specify a location so buyers know where the vehicle is located and can search for listings near them. After creating an account, you need to update some personal details, such as your location, before posting your first ad. Alternatively, we will ask for this information while you place your ad. Please note that the location should be where the vehicle is physically located, not necessarily your own current location.

If you receive the error “Unable to verify location.” when submitting your ad, make sure you have correctly filled in the location field.

  • Start typing your postcode or suburb and wait for the system to update with available results.
  • Select the nearest location from the list.
  • Once selected, do not manually edit the location, as modifications may not match our records. If you need to change it, remove the text completely and search again.

If no location is saved under your account, the location you select for your ad will be applied to your account as well. You can update this anytime through your dashboard.

Important Information:

If you are unable to find your location in the search field, please contact us so we can assist in getting your ad live as soon as possible.

You can also allow your web browser to detect your location by clicking the “Use my current location” button above the text field. This may prompt a browser popup asking for location access, which you must accept to enable this feature.

Note: Automatically detected locations may sometimes be inaccurate, as they are based on your internet provider’s (ISP) exit point.

Error: Images Required Despite Being Added

Written by Support
Updated over 4 months ago

At times, when submitting an ad on Just JDM Cars, you may encounter an error stating that images are required, even though you have already uploaded them.

This issue usually arises when the image size exceeds the allowed limit. There are two main restrictions:

  • A single image must not exceed 15MB.
  • The total size of all uploaded images must not exceed 20MB.

To avoid this, we recommend converting images to .jpg format and keeping each file under 1MB.

Accepted File Formats

Ensure that your images are in one of the following formats before uploading:
âś” .jpg, .jpeg, or .png

How to Compress Images

There are numerous tools available for image compression, and your device may already have one pre-installed, such as:

  • Photos App (Windows 10)
  • Preview (macOS)

By optimizing your images, you can prevent upload issues and ensure a smooth ad submission process on Just JDM Cars.

I Can’t Find the Right Fields When Placing My Ad

At Just JDM Cars, we strive to provide a comprehensive selection of vehicle variations for you to choose from when creating an ad on our platform. However, due to the specialized and niche nature of our market, it’s challenging to include every possible vehicle variation.

If you can’t find your exact vehicle model or have a heavily modified vehicle that doesn’t fit the standard options, follow this guide:

I Can’t Find My Exact Vehicle

You can manually override the available options when placing your ad. If a specific field doesn’t match, simply start typing your input instead of selecting from the dropdown, then press enter.

For example, let’s say you’re listing a 2020 Aston Martin Vanquish, but “2020” isn’t available in the “Year” field.

  1. Type “2020” in the selection box where it says “Select or Type” and press enter.
  2. You can now continue filling out the rest of the fields manually.

Important: Only fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.

I Want to Go Back to Selecting My Vehicle

If you’ve manually entered a value in a field but want to return to the standard dropdown selection, simply click “Go Back to Selection” to revert to the original method.
